Two venues in an operating terminal
Roll’d and Charlie’s Bar and Cafe are completed projects in Unified Projects’ airport portfolio. Their value as project examples is the combination of hospitality fitout delivery and the practical coordination needed within a working airport. Access, stakeholder requirements, programme and site logistics formed part of the delivery approach.
Charlie’s Bar and Cafe: fitout scope
The Charlie’s works covered hoarding, demolition and dismantling, wall and partition works, finishes and waterproofing, fixtures and fittings, electrical and mechanical works, and signage. These packages brought the construction, finishes and building-services interfaces together within one hospitality tenancy.
Roll’d: existing services and design interfaces
The Roll’d project documentation included hydraulic design coordination: assessment of existing services and capacities, sanitary drainage and potable-water design, authority liaison and design documentation. These requirements show the importance of resolving existing-services interfaces alongside the tenancy fitout.
What the projects demonstrate
Together, the two venues provide evidence of repeat hospitality delivery in Darwin, rather than a single isolated airport job. The combination of fitout packages, services coordination and live-terminal logistics supports Unified Projects’ capability in complex operational environments.
